ability to "wash" selected mails

Monday 20th of July 2009 10:13am

One of the things I would like is a "reviewed" flag on the grid ...

I often have 100 to 150 mails to review so I start to work down the list and according to the rules of murphy's law (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy%27s_law) as soon as I get near the end of the list MWP does another fetch and sorts the new emails in amongst the ones I have already reviewed so now I have to start again.

Having a "reviewed" flag and an additional "wash reviewed" function would allow me to wash out the ones I have already reviewed leaving the ones I have not yet done .....

And it's really frustrating when it happens (auto refresh interfering with my review). I wish there was a button to suspend auto refresh while I'm working...

(Mr Bill) why not just set 'Periodically check mail every' to a high number; I use 720.

This is the suggestion that would be the most helpful to me.

I have this same problem! I will be halfway through 100 emails and have to start all over. Not sure of the best solution, but it would be nice if additional mail comes in "under" some way what I am checking.

(Johno) I want it to check frequently once I deal with the morning accumulation, so I can keep up with what's coming in without having to remember to go check every 10 minutes. I just don't want to be interrupted while I'm actually reviewing the grid.

Or perhaps the ability to wash just one account would help (is this a separate suggestion?). Often my wife is sitting in the other room with her mouse poised over the "download" button in her mail client, waiting for me to finish reviewing 300 messages in MY account so I can "wash" everything.
