ROFLMAO! Those testimonials

ROFLMAO! Those testimonials sure are testies ... do you know coding makes you a little stir-crazy, but testing makes you a total geek? Well, sure you did, you've got Ernie as living proof. But the common thread, sadly - except maybe for [Olga] Sputnik - seems to be sex - a sure sign of social deprivation! ;-) So, OK, you need help beta-testing. I have literally YEARS of experience testing (mostly alpha, but also a bit of mean-minded hammering to try to get the new, supposedly finished code to break). I've worked in 'IT' since it was 'DP' (but not, thank God, 'EDP' or even 'ADP'!) as Systems/Business Analyst, Analyst/Programmer, Maintenance Team Leader, Development Team Leader, Software Designer etc. So I can do this stuff. Only difficulty is that I have been unwell - since late 2002 - with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Frankly, I think that's what we used to call "burnout", although I never heard of any of those burnouts having the rotten, constant pain of fibromyalgia that most CFS sufferers have to endure. So these days I spend a lot of time sleeping, and in September 2006, had to stop even the part-time work I had been doing, as I could no longer guarantee one hour's work a day - from my home office! But I do have good days as well as bad, and if you can use me for the actual hours that I will honestly report to you, I would be pleased to be doing something _useful_ again. I would be surprised if I couldn't rack up something between 8 and 16 hours of solid work in an average month. As it is, I'm still managing to run the Graphics and Music SIGs of the Melbourne PC User Group, altho' I'm not always well enough to attend every meeting (which is why I've had to organise Deputy Conveners). Regards, Yahya PS - Mercedes Lackey, eh? That's one cool author!
