The last few months of my life has been deeply involved in maintaining a list and replying to questions about websites that are selling counterfeit goods, or taking orders for goods and not sending any items.

It got popular, really popular, so popular it now one of the highest ranking pages on our entire website. It has over 4000 comments spread over 27+ pages.....sure most of the comments are mine, but don’t nitpick. After posting this list I wrote a guide, then I wrote another guide, the book and movie are still in production, but not far off.
Also in response to this huge demand for people asking “Is this website a scam”, myself and the friendly folk over at FraudWatchers have come up with a new website to aid your quest. www.scamchecker.net is a website offering both information to look for and a visual checklist.
Take the website you are considering doing business with, do some minor research, answer a few questions by clicking the options, and Hey Presto ! Ka-Blam! automagically you will see some odds and other visual guides presented to you.
If you are wondering what the point in all of this is.....it will teach you what to look for. If you look at the simple things, ask even some of the most basic questions, when you look at the information packaged together, you are much better off and make much better decisions when dealing with companies online.

Try some of the places here, especially the Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the Mediation Centre if you believe the money has been taken.

You can at least follow up on their business creditials with these places, and if necessary arrange some mediation.
I have not come across Nail product being targeted for this kind of scam before, so I wouldn't panic too much just yet. Assuming you are still in contact with the staff at this website I would keep cool, and keep being friendly...but perisistent as well as to the status of your order.
I have been told that the monomer that can be found in Chinese nail product is banned virtually everywhere else, this site doesn't explicitly say what is in their monomers, so that's not ideal either.
Paying by T/T, Money Order etc.. is not what you want to be doing. In the early stages of any business you should be protecting yourself as much as possible, and these payment methods offer you no recourse.
Can you check out a company by the name of www.66okay.com I have made one deal with a company from china and they came through with immediate response. Very pleased with the product. Looking to diversify. Hard to trust in today's world. Thank you......
I think I may have just been scammed out of $1,500! I really wish I would have found your site before. Do you know anything about www.pretty-nail.com? I'm in the midst of starting up a supply company in California and was looking for an overseas wholesaler. I sent them the funds for my order via t/t. How can I go about trying to get my money back? I'm absolutely freaking out. That is a large sum to just give away! HELP!
