Changes ahead at Firetrust

Pretty soon we'll be releasing a new (beta) version of MailWasher Pro. Most of the changes are cosmetic, but we've also worked on the usability of it, so we've tried to make it a no brainer for people to use straight away. We realised people didn't really understand how to train MailWasher, so we've simplified it and made it part of a new action. We're sure you'll all like the new version, it's much easier to understand, and all the configurations are in one area.

Actually, everything is getting a makeover and improvements.

New website live on Tuesday

After a lot of time and effort, we'll be releasing the new Firetrust.com, oss.firetrust.com and mailwasher.net websites on Tuesday 13th March. Our old site was looking a bit dated (done in 2003 - things have changed quickly) and didn't really cut it for ease of use and updating the information, plus as standards go, there were no standards. It was really starting to get bad to look at.

Making websites is a lot of work!

Well getting the Firetrust website to launch has been a lot of work! I'm glad we already had the content as that is a huge job in itself, although the content we did have needed updating and checking for consistency.

We've been working on and off it for a while, getting a design ready, adding content and then spending a lot of time refining the content, sharpening up the graphics and testing. Web developers will know what a pain it is to make sure your site works in all the popular browsers. It's something which takes a lot of learned patience!
