Filter rules (On/Off)

Wednesday 18th of August 2010 2:32am

Any chance of an option to be able to turn off/on individual Filter rules? This would help when testing filters, especially when testing complicated regex.

A check box above the delete button would be ideal.

Couple thoughts about locating the checkbox ...

While the User has to mouse over to the right side to Delete the Rule, putting the checkbox over there makes it far easier to hit the Delete Rule button by accident instead of the On/Off Switch, so ...

There's more room on the left side somewhere around the Rule #;
Second, the User's going to be looking on the left side anyway since that's where the Add Rule button is; and
Third, as mentioned above about the Delete Rule button, locating it on the left would reduce the chance of inadvertent errors while editing a Rule/Filter.
