single check box that selects all messages for deletion

Monday 23rd of November 2009 3:33am

I have one account that mirrors another account. The second account is where I read most e-mails.

Only a few of the e-mails on the first account are those I want to save.
It would be beneficial to have a single delete box that selects all e-mails and then I can run through the list to uncheck those few messages I want to save.

Type Ctrl-A to select all, click the delete box, click any message to unselect all.

Thanks for your suggestion but it doesn't do what I want. However, your suggestion did lead me to find a way that does work ...
I don't want to delete ALL. I want to delete MOST but save a few. Here is what I found works.
SELECT a message. Type CTRL-A which selects all messages. Click any one of the delete message boxes which fills in ALL delete boxes. Select one message which UNselects all others. You can now systematically uncheck those few messages you want to save.
