As you may know, Microsoft are releasing Windows 7 on the 23rd October. MailWasher Pro is fully compatible with all versions of Windows 7.

We just released version 2.74 of MailWasher Enterprise Server with lots of improvements.

We're pleased to release version 6.53 of MailWasher Pro with two new features.

Now you can see a blow by blow account (almost) of what's happening here and what we're working on.

For now, it's only for Linux until we sort out a few issues with the version for Microsoft Exchange. This new version 2.63 implements grey listing and what a difference it makes. Some of our email accounts which normally attract many thousands of spam emails a day, which after normal filtering reduced this to around 50 spam emails a day. After we implemented grey listing, it reduced this even further to where maybe 1 or 2 spam emails, if at all (none today), might sneak through on a daily basis.

The new MailWasher Enterprise Server (MWE) antispam software is based on the same code we use in our back-end systems for processing large volumes of spam in real-time so it's proven under load, light on resources, easy to maintain and will allow us to quickly make changes and add features which people want. Being multithreaded and able to take advantage of multi-core processors, on a mid-range machine MWE easily handles 4000 emails a minute , and due to the way it is designed scaling is not a problem, MWE can talk to many mail servers or vice-versa.

We had to re-release the english version to fix up the display of foreign character sets, and update the German version from 6.2 with fixes to language stuff. This release of MailWasher Pro is intended to be the final release for this generation as we move to rewrite MailWasher Pro from the ground up.
