I was away at a place called Lake Tekapo last Friday, so I didn't get to update the blog here.

Summer rolls on here in Christchurch. This makes it harder for us as it's a busy time because most of our customers are in the northern hemisphere.

I've decided to write a semi-regular blog on Fridays to update those who want to follow what we're doing, plus include a few links which people should find interesting. It's a brief read (for our increasingly distracted lives).

As you may already know, Christchurch has been hit by a large earthquake, most of the city centre has been very badly damaged including our office.

All staff is safe, however we may be slower to reply to any emails or queries until next week, and no phone enquires sorry.

One of the features currently missing in MailWasher 2010 is the ability to hide emails, and as it turns out, this wasn't such a good idea on our part and we have been suitably chastised.

However when people are made aware of another new feature in MailWasher, they tend to find it a more elegant solution to quickly making emails 'appear' and 'disappear'. This new feature is called Grouping.

It’s Fraud Awareness Week here until the 9th of March, so plenty is going on in regards to helping people educate themselves, and report scams to protect others.

ScamWatch New Zealand has provided some useful examples of people being scammed which is always worth reading.
